1. Prepare Your Windows Virtual Machine

Before starting the installation, ensure that your Windows virtual machine is up and running.

2. Update Windows

It’s a good practice to update your Windows operating system to the latest version for compatibility and security. You can check for updates in the Settings > Update & Security section.

3. Start VMware Tools Installation

Step 1: Open VMware Workstation

Launch VMware Workstation and select the Windows virtual machine you want to install VMware Tools on.

Step 2: Mount VMware Tools

7. Restart the Virtual Machine

8. Verify the Installation

After restarting, you can verify that VMware Tools is installed successfully:

1. Right-click on This PC or My Computer and select Properties.
2. Under System, you should see information about your system, including details about VMware Tools.
